Facilities
The Westward Community Center was named after the first school district in the rural Whitecourt area, the 12,000sq/ft. facility provides the community with a 700-seat community hall, with meeting rooms, a commercial size kitchen, and dinner theater facilities. Area residents are able to use the community center for numerous large and small family and community events including weddings, reunions, graduations, and conventions as well as for smaller functions and meetings. There is also an 8 stall campground with indoor heated cook shack.

* $25 damage deposit is required for all chair and table rentals

Westward Equestrian Centre
The Westward Equestrian Centre formally known as the Indoor Riding Arena is a 100 x 200 building that provides a safe environment for local, district, and regional equine, non traditional stock, agricultural stock, and canine sporting events year round, rain, shine, or snow for people and clubs of all ages. This facility serves the immediate needs of Whitecourt, Swan Hills, Fox Creek, Peers, Blue Ridge, Mayerthorpe and other outlying communities.
The Westward Equestrian Centre Hours are daily 8am - 11pm Unless otherwise posted
At -20c the Arena is closed

Campground and Cook House
Campground
(No electricity, Washroom Facilities, Water Hydrant at camp kitchen)8 pull through stalls available $15.00 per unit/ per night
Campground rental ( 8 stalls) $150.00 + GST per night
Group rate up to 50 units (Over 8 units) $200.00 + GST per night
*Damage deposit of $100 required for campground rentals and Group Rates without a hall rental.
(Campers who have rented the hall will not need to pay the deposit for the camp ground.)

Camp kitchen damage deposit $100.00
Camp kitchen use $100.00 + GST/day
(Camp kitchen holds 30 - 40 people, has a fridge/cooler and wood stove. Electricity in building, , Water Hydrant outside, folding tables and chairs.)
